Adaptive Athletic Wear Practice-informed Research

This project showcases selected results from practice-informed research aimed at developing a toolkit for disability inclusion in athletic wear design and innovation.

For this study, a qualitative multimethods participatory approach was applied, along with a social model of disability lens, to engage stakeholders through interviews, ideation workshops, and feedback sessions. Results include contextual mapping, a scope of user-informed needs, recommended design strategies, and multidisciplinary collaborator mapping.
